Reba J. “Jean” Larck, 79, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 11:08 a.m. Monday, September 25, 2017 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. She was born on July 31, 1938 in Charleston, West Virginia to Lawrence E. & Sarah “Sally” Thomas Williams, who have preceded her in death. Reba was married to Delmer Ray Larck, who passed away on May 2, 1975.
Survivors include two children, Jeff Larck, of Lima, and Kelly Larck, of Cleveland; five grandchildren, Steven Larck, Sara & Eric Wisener, Victoria Larck, Tara Larck, and Brian Larck; 13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth Ann Harper, of Scott Depot, WV, and Delores “Kay” Thompson, of North Ridgeville, OH.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelia Larck; grandson, Delmer Ray Wilson; and sister, Alice Deel.
Jean was born and raised in West Virginia. There she also met and married Delmer. They moved to Cleveland, and eventually Wapakoneta for her career. She worked for over 45 years in the office of Agrana Fruits, Botkins. Jean was a member of the First English Lutheran Church, Wapakoneta. She enjoyed traveling with her sisters, shopping, and playing Bingo and cards. Jean will be remembered as the glue that held her family together. They were truly her treasure, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy was making sure everyone was taken care of.
Funeral services will begin Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Pastor Neil Brady will officiate. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
Funeral services will also begin Friday, September 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Mortuary, 335 5th Avenue SW, South Charleston, WV. Rev. Mitch Burch will officiate. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, WV. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services Friday at Good Shepherd Mortuary.
