Ruth A. Lautzenheiser

Ruth A. Lautzenheiser, 79, of Wapakoneta, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday morning, November 26, 2017 surrounded by her family.

She was born December 15, 1937 in Lima, OH to Paul & Belle (Boop) Gardner who preceded her in death.

Ruth leaves four loving children to cherish her memory; Steve (Mary) Lautzenheiser of Glendale, AZ, Dave (Sharon) Lautzenheiser of Wapakoneta, Rachel (Ed) Walter of San Diego, CA, Ken “Termite” Lautzenheiser of Lima, three granddaughters Brittney Lea of San Diego, CA, Amy (Brad) Roop of New Knoxville, Ashley Lautzenheiser of Wapakoneta, two great-grandsons Owen and Logan Roop and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lucille, Betty, Nadara and her brother Edward.

“Ruthie” had been employed at Eagles #691 and later retired from Walmart of Wapakoneta.  Per her wishes there will be no services held.  Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima.

The family has entrusted Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services to handle the arrangements.
