Wanda R. Schaub

Wanda R. Schaub, 85, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 8:48 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Auglaize Acres.

She was born on April 28, 1933 in Auglaize County to Charles & Evadna (Walker) Comer who preceded her in death.  On April 18, 1953 she married Harold G. Schaub and he passed away on February 4, 2010.

She is also survived by four daughters; Terry (Rick) Kantner, Marty (John) Limbert both of Wapakoneta, Deb (Craig) Peachey of Gatlinburg, TN, Lynn (Brian) Shuster of Kettlersville; two sons, Michael (Karen) Schaub of Botkins, Russell (Jennifer) Schaub of Wapakoneta; 12 grandchildren, Julie (Eric), Joni (Chad), Kelly (Steve), Kim (Josh), Joe, Afton (Shawn), Hayden (Savanna), Bethany (Jason), Rodney, Fletcher, Bradley, J.T.; 10 great-grandchildren, Madison, Mason, Lucas, Liberty, Landon, Hailey, Hunter, Zoe, Bane and Bria.

She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Heather Schaub, two brothers Roger and Chuck Comer and a sister Roxie Blanchard.

Wanda retired from Superior Metals and enjoyed painting, crafting, gardening, camping and playing Bingo.  She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Fryburg and Buckeye Farm Antiques.  She especially enjoyed going on gambling trips with her husband but most of all she dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at St. John Catholic Church, Fryburg with Rev. Jarred Kohn officiating.  Burial will follow at the church cemetery.  Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta.
