Barbara A. Knoch

Barbara A. Knoch, 88, formerly of Uniopolis, passed away at 7:38 a.m., Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Otterbein, St. Marys.

She was born on November 7, 1937 in Lima, OH to John and Eallien (Mong) Bowersock who preceded her in death. On October 7, 1956, she married Tom R. Knoch and he passed away on May 17, 2021.

Survivors also include four children: Tom Ronald "TR" (Lynnita) Knoch Jr., of Chandler, AZ, Tracy L. (Scott) Hatfield of Wapakoneta, Ty L. Doty of Wapakoneta; and Tash L. (Allan) Schulze of Celina; nine grandchildren: David Knoch, James Knoch, D'Anne Knoch, Baley (Jon) Britton, Dr. Blake Hatfield, Tayler (Ian) Young, Jeremy (Leah Wolford) Doty, Justin Schulze, and Ashley (Ron Brown) Schulze; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by a son-in-law Scott Doty, and a brother Earl Bowersock.

Barbara was a 1955 graduate of Blume High School. She worked at Met Bank and retired from U.S. Plastics, Lima. She loved gardening, flowers and especially her grandkids. She was a member of the Uniopolis United Methodist Church. Barbara and Tom along with Bill and Audrey Knoch, founded the Gospel Tent which is still active at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Uniopolis.
