A 1948 graduate of Blume High School, Barbara was a lifelong resident of Wapakoneta. She retired in 1991 after 12 years of service as a lab technician at Superior Tube. She had also worked at the Fisher Cheese Company. Barbara was a member of First United Methodist Church and had many hobbies to keep her hands busy. She loved to garden and take care of others by sharing her cooking and baking with them. Crocheting and dancing were also things she enjoyed doing in her free time. Nothing however could take the place of the love she had for her family. Whether it was a simple get-together or a family vacation, they were her true treasure in life.
