Camille A. Kramer, 85, of Wapakoneta, peacefully passed away at 12:43 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2026 surrounded by her loving children. She was born on August 1, 1940 in Lima to Darwin N. & Anne R. (Musto) Frost, who preceded her in death. On October 25, 1958, she married Ivo J. Kramer, who passed away November 16, 2020.

Survivors include three children, Tony (Cathy) Kramer, of Front Royal, VA, Kris (Lynn) Gerstner, and Kelly (Jerry) Krebs, both of Wapakoneta; son-in-law, Randy Barhorst, of Wapakonta; ten grandchildren, Allison (Matthew) Patrick, John Kramer, Sarah (John) Okland, Sherri (Justin) Rogers, Jodi (Chris) Wibley, Dr. Emily (Christopher) Post, David Gerstner, Jon (Dr. Megan Rutledge) Krebs, Justin (Tatum Willoughby) Krebs, Kaitlin Camille Krebs; a beautiful bouquet of great-grandchildren; and her sister, Karen (Jim) Smithey, of Wapakoneta.

Camille was preceded in death by daughter, Laurie Barhorst; and sister, Jackie McCormick.

A graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School, Camille served her community as assistant treasurer/secretary for the Auglaize County Board of Education. She was a life member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, receiving her sacraments and marrying Ivo there. In her younger days, Camille sang in the choir and was a member of the Christian Mother's Club.

Ever the artist, Camille excelled in many mediums. From painting and arranging flowers to playing piano and maintaining a beautiful landscape around her home, Camille was the definition of an amazing homemaker. Her family will remember her cooking, especially the lasagna, which came from her memory, heart and taste, never a recipe. She spent many afternoons and evenings with her friends, playing mahjong or a round of golf. Above all, Camille treasured her family. Her children, grandchildren and growing number of great-grandchildren brought her much joy.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Compassus Hospice for their dedication to caring for Camille.
