Diane Music

Diane L. Music, 72, of Lima, passed away at 7:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at her daughter's residence in St. Marys. She was born on February 12, 1952 in Coldwater, to Romaine "Red" and Mary (Burden) Renbarger who preceded her in death. On December 10, 1983 she married Darrell Music and he passed away on October 8, 2015.

Survivors include four children, Amanda (Jeff) Ruvoldt of St. Marys, Deana Lea Schroer of New Bremen, Kayla Music of Lima, Keith (Amanda) Music of Hazel Park, MI; five grandchildren, Luke Axe, Jessica Schemmel, Steven Axe, Tricia Schemmel, Cindy Schemmel; three great-grandchildren, and her sister, Dawn K. (Ray Howell) Nolan.

Diane was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Peggy Sue Carnes.

A graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School, Diane dearly loved the companionship of her cats. In her free time, she spent countless hours researching her roots, working on family genealogy. Music was usually playing in the background, as she loved listening to it. Diane could often be found at the Wapak Truck Stop with friends, gathered around a table, with a coffee in hand.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 12-4 p.m. at Hart Hall 1658 W. Breese Rd, Lima, OH 45806.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be directed to Deb's Dogs.
