Edward J. Harshbarger

Edward J. Harshbarger, 59, of Cuyahoga Falls, formerly of Wapakoneta, passed away suddenly at his residence on July 3, 2017. He was born on May 5, 1958 in Lima, OH to Richard & Margaret (Kelly) Harshbarger who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children; Meghan Harshbarger of Columbus, OH, Ben Harshbarger of Brooklyn, NY, his former wife Renee (Ziegler) Harshbarger of Girard, OH, six siblings Mike (Carolyn) Harshbarger, Tim (Deb) Harshbarger, Bill (Judy) Harshbarger, Cindy (Pat) McClintock, Kim (Ken Osborne) Huber, Mark (Debbie) Harshbarger all of Wapakoneta , numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, one great-great-niece, three great-great-nephews and a sister-in-law Beth Harshbarger.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Dennis and David Harshbarger.
Edward was a 1977 graduate of Wapakoneta High School. He earned his MBA from the University of Dayton. He was the former Director of Child Support, Summit County, OH. He enjoyed following The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, Cleveland Cavaliers and as well as NASCAR.
Per his wishes a private family memorial service will be held at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Ron Boyer officiating. Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
