Franklin D. "Frank" Taylor, 87, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 11:53 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2021 at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born on December 13, 1933 in Lakeview, OH to Jason & Ollie (Dobie) Taylor who preceded him in death. On June 8, 1957 he married Linda Winegardner and she survives in Wapakoneta.
Survivors include 3 children Deanna (Mark) Wisener of Wapakoneta, Kirby (Tonya) Taylor of Lake Havasu, AZ, Kirk Taylor of Wapakoneta; 3 grandchildren Lindsay Wisener, Eric (Sara) Wisener both of Wapakoneta, Makenzie Taylor of Lake Havasu, AZ; 3 great-grandchildren Kagan Zink, Eliann Wisener and Ruby Wisener all of Wapakoneta; a sister Marlene Cole of Lakeview; a brother-in-law Garry Winegardner; a sister-in-law Nancy (Garey) Osborn and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters Lavera Haggard and Charlene Bennett.
Frank served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army as a driver. He retired from Airstream, Jackson Center, OH after 41 years as a service technician and even travelled to China for work. He was a member of the Airstream Camping Club where he had served as past president. He was also a member of the St. Johns Volunteer Fire & Rescue for 25 years. He dearly loved his John Deere tractors and was a member of the Buckeye Farm Antiques.
Private family services will be held at a later date.

The Taylor family has entrusted Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta to handle the arrangements.
