Howard A. Kelley, 58, of Wapakoneta, passed away the afternoon of Tuesday, October 21, 2025 in his home. He was born on November 6, 1966 in Dayton, Ohio to Howard H. and Diane K. (Kiefer) Kelley. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Wapakoneta.
Survivors also include two daughters, Alaina (Andrew) Cox and Alexis (Travis) Jones, both of Anna; five grandchildren, Briana, Brylie, Cash, Charlotte and Liam; two sisters, Robyn (Steve) Sprague of Wapakoneta and Cheryl Fisher of Elida; and several nieces and nephews.
Howard was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Michael Fisher.
A 1985 graduate of Wapakoneta High School, Howard then began his nearly 40 year career at Plastipak Packaging. From an early age, he enjoyed being outdoors. Howard could be found hunting, mainly deer and skiing, going on trips when he was older. Playing a round of golf and watching football games were his favorite sporting activities. Howard was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan and also cheered for that team up north (Michigan). He will be remembered for his quirky sense of humor.
A time of gathering for family and friends will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Interment will take place in Resthaven Memory Gardens at a later date.
