Jason Dean Strauser 17, of Wapakoneta died at 6:33 A.M. May 30, 2011 at Nationwide Children's Hospital, Columbus.
He was born January 17, 1994 in Lima, OH to Rick & Judy (Treadway) Strauser who both survive in Wapakoneta.
He is also survived by three sisters; Tiffany (Chad) Fullenkamp, Leslie (Allen) Lykins, and Heather (Reed Stemen) Strauser all of Wapakoneta; grandparents Grace & Dean Strauser of Waynesfield, Jennie Treadway of Wapakoneta, and Larry Treadway of Vaughnsville; several nieces and nephews Maria Wildermuth, Kelsey Fullenkamp, Darnay Wildermuth, Kortney Fullenkamp, Kenzey Fullenkamp, Brandon, Bethany, and Caleb Lykins; family pets Skip and Zoey; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by a maternal aunt Karen Treadway and a paternal uncle Sandy Martin.
Jason was a Junior at Wapakoneta Senior High. He was a member Salem United Methodist Church in Wapakoneta where he dearly loved his church family. He was employed at Arby's in Wapakoneta where he thoroughly enjoyed working. He was an avid Columbus Blue Jackets fan and loved his '94 Ford Thunderbird. He also enjoyed going to Max's Dairy Bar in Wapakoneta. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 10:30 A.M. Thursday at Salem United Methodist Church in Wapakoneta. Pastor Shawn Morris will be officiating. Friends may call from 2-8 Wednesday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta and one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family to go towards Jason's favorite charities.
