Jerrilee A. Holtzapple

Jerrilee A. Holtzapple, 67, of Troy formerly of Wapakoneta, passed away at 11:30 a.m., Friday, August 15, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.

She was born on August 12, 1958 in St. Marys, OH to William and Marjorie (DuPertuis) Hook who preceded her in death. On November 13, 1976 she married Keith B. Holtzapple and he survives in Troy.

Survivors include 2 children Lucas (Brittney Wismer) Holtzapple of Cedar Hill, TX, Katisha (Joe) See of Dayton, OH; 2 grandchildren Jeremiah Daniels, Kieran See; siblings Donald (Deb) Hook, Joan (Joe) Braun, Janice (Frank) Polutnik and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Douglas, David and Dan Hook.

Jerrilee was a 1976 graduate of Wapakoneta High School and then attended Lima Technical College where she obtained an Associate's Degree in Accounting. She had worked at Bank One, Telephone Service Company, and Abbey Federal Credit Union. She also worked at Astro Lanes where she bowled in many leagues and was lifetime member of the Noon Optimist Club of Wapakoneta. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Wapakoneta and Troy First United Methodist Church where she was a co-leader of Let's Go Travel and a servant heart and very involved with the church. She enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids.

Memorial services will begin at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Troy First United Methodist Church 110 W. Franklin Avenue with Pastor Chris Heckaman officiating. Family and friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
