Jolene A. "Jodi" Wertz

Jolene A. “Jodi” Wertz, 70, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 9:32 a.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s, Lima.

Jolene was born on September 23, 1948 in Topeka, KS to Lawrence D. & Helen F. (North) Zuercher who preceded her in death.

Survivors include 5 children, Kelly (Bryan) Huffman of WA, David Wertz of Wapakoneta, Frank Wertz II of WI, Nikki (Jerry) Sawmiller, Desma Cook both of Wapakoneta; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; two sister, Barbara (David) Stiles and Carol (Dennis) Jeanneret.

Jolene was a 1966 graduate of Wapakoneta High School where she was a cheerleader. She was a member of Harvest Baptist church and was dedicated to reading the Bible.  She dearly loved her grandchildren, doing puzzles and singing.  She will always be remembered for her quick and witty humor.

Memorial services will begin at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta with Pastor Jon Braunstein officiating.

Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the service at the funeral home.
