Luanna "Annie" Kohler, 95, of Botkins, passed away at 9:55 a.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Lima Memorial Health System.

She was born on May 27, 1931 in Fryburg, OH to Leo and Pauline (Greve) Schaub who preceded her in death. On November 23, 1949 she married Fred C. Kohler and he passed away on April 19, 2017 and they would have been married almost 68 years.

Survivors include 6 children William (Sharon) Kohler of Botkins, Peg (Ken) Fisher of Wapakoneta, John (Gail) Kohler of Clayton, Robert Kohler of Botkins, Mark Kohler of Columbus, Martha (Mike) Munch of Rockford, MI; 12 grandchildren Joan Dahlinghaus, Chad (Diane) Kohler, Craig (Katie) Kohler, Brent (Andrea) Kohler, Lindsey (Phil) Muhlenkamp, Andrea (Jason) Greve, Mitchell (Emily) Kohler, Brian (Kayla) Kohler, Emily (Danny) Mettler, Ross (Lizzie) Kohler, Stephanie (Rachel) Fisher, Natasha (Kurt) Kaufman; 24 great-grandchildren and a son-in-law Dave Dahlinghaus

She was preceded in death by 2 sons James Kohler, Roger Kohler; a daughter Patricia Daulinghaus; a granddaughter Deb Bubeck and son-in-law Chris Niekamp.

Annie grew up on her family farm working as a young child. She and her husband worked side by side, milking cows on their dairy farm for many years. She enjoyed feeding her farm cats and will be remembered as a modern farm woman ahead of her time. She proudly raised 9 children and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was extremely proud of her rhubarb patch and was always willing to share with family and friends for whom she loved making rhubarb desserts. She was also very particular about her lawn and was still mowing up until 2 years ago. Annie was a very devoted Catholic and attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Rhine.

Per Annie's wishes there will be a private family service at a later date at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, Wapakoneta.
