Ever the crafty one, she spent many hours woodworking with her husband. They did everything from creating little pieces to refinishing furniture. Melanie spent many hours each season tending to the flowers in her garden beds and numerous pots. Whenever you were around Melanie, you were sure to hear either music, especially the oldies, or her humming and rocking along. She loved to sing to her kids and grandkids when they were little.
