Pauline Armstrong Cook was born July 20, 1925, East Liverpool Hospital. Died December 23, 2016, age 91, in Fairhaven Community United Church Home, Upper Sandusky.

Esther Pauline Armstrong married Wilbur Donald Cook August 11, 1946 at Elkton Ohio Methodist Church; celebrated 70th Wedding Anniversary August 11, 2016.
Pauline Cook was retired nurse from Piqua Hospital; and mother of the couple's 5 children; 9 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Daughter, Jean Elaine Klein & James Klein (Died), San Diego, California; have two daughters.
Daughter, Carol Ann Cook, Wapakoneta, Ohio, has one daughter.
Son, Donald Carl Cook, Wapakoneta, Ohio; married Christine Frank (Died), have one daughter born in Australia.
Daughter, Pearl Lucille Cook, married Richard Drake, have two sons and two daughters, one grandson.
Son, Dan Daryl Cook, Bradford, Ohio, has one daughter.

Pauline played violin (2nd chair) in David Anderson High School, Lisbon, Ohio. Pauline was active in 4-H Club and made her wedding dress. She was a seamstress. She loved to sew, crochet. She sewed many grandchildren dresses. Pauline served in 4-H as leader in Elkton, Ohio and while in parsonage at Cheraw Colorado Methodist Church. Pauline's sewing material was given to St. Paul United Church of Christ, Wapakoneta.
Education: Attended Dutchtown one room school till 8th Grade.
Graduated David Anderson High School 1943 Lisbon.
Graduated Vanguard Vocational School, Fremont, Ohio, Licensed Practical Nursing Degree 1970.
High School Activities: Home Economics, Future Homemaker of the Year Award-David Anderson High School, Orchestra (violin), 4-H Leader while still in High School (Had her own 4-H club.)
Pauline became a Licensed Practical Nurse, worked in Sandusky and Piqua Hospitals. Pauline was President, District 16, Ohio Licensed Practical Association. Pauline Cook is retired nurse from Piqua Hospital.
With husband Will Cook, they have been on three trips to Europe, 1974 with Lyme Church; and 1986 & 1989 with 5th Armored Division veterans. Did proofreading on the "Victory Division News". Played in church Bell Choir, Cub Scout leader at Fireside and Bellevue.

Pauline was active in Women's Guild in all of the churches served by her husband. Chester Grange, Wooster, Ohio. also leader of Junior Grange, Farm Bureau, Wooster Ohio helped with Youth Groups and other organization in the churches.
Pauline & Will Cook farmed outside of Lisbon, Ohio until the farm house burned to the ground. Wilbur went to Mount Union College and became a minister. Teacher at Belleview Middle School.
Pauline had Alzheimer's and spent 7 years in Auglaize Acres Nursing Home, Wapakoneta & 1 year in Fairhaven Community, Upper Sandusky.
Pauline is well represented in Proverbs 31:10-31.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday December 30, 2016 at St. Paul U.C.C. with Pastor Elaine Mikesell officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta. Friends may call from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta.
