Ramona D. Heitz, 50, of Springfield, formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 8:24 p.m. Jan. 11, 2009, at Springfield Regional Medical Center, Springfield.
She was born Sept. 18, 1958, in Buchanan to George and Mildred Newland Lightle. Her father and stepmother, Ivorie Ann Lightle, survive in Waverly. Her mother preceded her in death.
Ms. Heitz was a medical billing specialist with Advocate Radiology, Springfield. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a creative person and enjoyed decorating. She will be remembered as a very caring person with a great sense of humor.
Survivors also include two sons, Joshua R. (Carla) Heitz and Ryan P. (Kathy Clendenin) Heitz, both of Wapakoneta; a daughter, Rachel E. Heitz, of Columbus; two granddaughters, Myla Marie Heitz and Bryle Nicol Heitz, both of Wapakoneta; her special friend, Dennis White, of Wapakoneta; two brothers, John (Becky) Lightle, of Waverly, and Tim Lightle, of Piketon; and four sisters, Carolyn (Jimmy) Collins, of Toledo, Linda (Larry) Brown, of Hickman, Ky., Donna Woodward, of Springfield, Mo., and Raberta Lightle, of Buckland.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Lightle and Naomi Jumper.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Schlosser Funeral Home, Wapakoneta. Pastor Phil Scott will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
