Richard Bush

Rick Bush, 79, of Lima, passed away at 2:12 a.m., Sunday, July 20, 2025 at his residence. He was born on September 17, 1945 in Lima, to Billy and Rose Mary (Siegel) Bush who preceded him in death. On October 17, 1997 he married Chris M. Holtzapple and she survives in Lima.

Survivors include 4 children Melissa (John) Frederick, Paul (Nancy) Bush, Clint (Shannon) Cratty, and Chad (Daphne) Cratty all of Wapakoneta; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a brother Tom Bush of MN and a sister Susan (James) Manbeck of New Bremen.

Rick was a 1963 graduate of Wapakoneta High School, who retired from EMI of Jackson Center. He then started shuttling camper trailers across the country, even helping FEMA during Hurricane Katrina. He will be remembered for using duct tape on everything... even if it didn't need it. Rick was also known for handing out pencils with scripture verses on them. He enjoyed camping, gardening, watching western tv shows and movies.

Family and friends may visit from 4-6 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2025 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Private family services will be held at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
