Rose K. Brown

Rose K. Brown, 96, of Wapakoneta formerly of St. Marys, passed away at 12:41 p.m., Friday, August 7, 2026 at her daughter's residence.

She was born on February 7, 1930 in New Weston, OH to John and Helen (Fink) Kramer who preceded her in death. On August 19, 1950 she married Donald F. Brown and he passed away in 1991.

Survivors include 6 children Patricia (Doug) Ice of Kettering, OH, Carl Brown of the Dominican Republic, Larry (Linda) Brown of Paducah, KY, Alan Brown of Puerto Princesa, Philippines, Beverly (Dave) Fisher, Dianne (Roy) Holtzapple both of Wapakoneta; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters Hilda Schmitz, Edna Stout and her faithful lap dog Oscar.

She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter Emily Rose Fisher and 12 siblings.

Rose retired after 33 years of service working in production and supervision at Goodyear Tire & Rubber, St. Marys. She was a member of the 3rd Order of the Alliance of the Two Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Ethan Hoying officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery, Montezuma. Family and friends may visit from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to God's Store House or Holy Face of Jesus Parish.
