Tamara "Tami" Fullen, 68, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 12:10 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at her residence.
She was born on April 6, 1958, in Celina, OH, to Clyde and Artiff (Thitoff) Mertz, who preceded her in death. On March 6, 1993, she married Ron Fullen, who passed away on July 28, 2020.
Survivors include her daughter, Kristi (Shaun) Horsey of Lima; a granddaughter, Annabelle Steelman; a sister, Christine Johnston; a brother, Bud Mertz; and a niece, Michelle "Shell" Stiles.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Mertz.
Tami enjoyed golf cart rides, trips to Scoops for ice cream, watching The Ohio State University football games, and sitting quietly on her porch surrounded by her beloved flowers. She was famous for her chicken noodle soup, which brought comfort to everyone who enjoyed it. She took great pride in maintaining her yard and could often be found mowing the grass with a smile on her face. Tami was also a member of the Eagles #691 and Grief Share, where she always enjoyed the company of others.
Per her wishes, there will be no public services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Auglaize County Humane Society, 616 N. Dixie Hwy., Wapakoneta, OH 45895.
