Terry Dershem

Terry Dershem, 66, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 3:46 a.m., Thursday, September 4, 2025 at his residence.

He was born on September 9, 1958 in Toledo, OH to James and Mary (Chambers) Dershem who preceded him in death. On June 10, 1989 he married Carolyn L. "Carol" Boyd who passed away on November 7, 2022.

Survivors include two step-daughters Rhonda Windle, Amanda Neidemire both of Wapakoneta; 4 grandchildren Jacob, Joshua (Katie), Ashley Windle, Dean Neidemire; 2 great-grandsons Emmitt & Weston Windle; siblings Anita Hatalsky of Coal Valley, IL, Celeste (Ray) Sigala of Roswell, NM, Philip Dershem of Chiang Mai, Thailand and 2 nephews Derek Kniffin of SC, Parker Kniffin of CO.

Terry was a 1977 graduate of Stow High School, Stow, OH. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1978-1981 as a welder and continued his career at General Dynamics, Lima. He was a member of Celina Baptist Church where he faithfully provided service work. He also enjoyed woodworking.

Memorial services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta with military rites will be performed by the V.F.W. Post 8445. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Fryburg.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Celina Baptist Church or Mercy Unlimited.
