Tim A. Poling

Tim A. Poling, 73, of Wapakoneta, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord at 6:10 a.m., Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Mercy Health-St. Rita's. He was born on April 26, 1952 in Lima, to Harold and Dorothy (Foust) Poling who preceded him in death. On August 7, 1998, he married Linda Aldrich and she survives.

Survivors also include 3 children Michele (Murphy) Howe, Beth (Paul) Klima, Jill (Will Kennedy) Cvetanovich; 4 grandchildren Jamie (Nick) Merrell, Christie (Marcel) Da Costa, Cooper Myers, Jolene Kennedy; 2 great-grandsons Riley and Jameson Merrell; 3 sisters Linda Mack, Diana (Joe) Sprague, Barb (Pete) Truesdale and many nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by a son Scott Poling and a brother Tom Poling.

A 1970 graduate of Wapakoneta High School, Tim was machinist at Comp Air LeRoi, Sidney for 27 years. He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church, Lima. When not at work, he enjoyed being in his garage, either working on old classic cars or just tinkering around. Tim loved to travel, whether it was a simple road trip or going to the casino. He also spent many hours watching old western movies.

Family and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. A graveside service will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Wapakoneta.
