William C. "Bill" Davidson, 91, of Wapakoneta, OH, passed away at 11:37 a.m., Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born on April 11, 1933 in St. Marys, OH to Clarence and Joyce (Bailey) Davidson who preceded him in death. In 1952, he married Carolyn Grace Hager and she passed away in 1960. On July 18, 1964 he married Carol Sue Stewart and she survives in Wapakoneta, OH.
Survivors include 2 sons, Dave (Connie) Davidson of Goshen, OH, Mike (Maricel) Davidson of Lima, OH, 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother Tom (Shirley) Davidson of Seattle, WA.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Jennelle Rappaport and brother-in-law, Monroe Rappaport; his sister-in-law, Mary Alice (Stewart) Stoner and brother-in-law, Pearl Stoner.
Bill was a 1951 graduate of Buckland High School and then attended The Ohio State University where he received a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Agriculture. In his younger years, he was a successful farmer and could always be found tinkering and repairing tools and equipment. Bill had a successful career as a pharmaceutical representative with Searle & Co. for many years in the Cincinnati, Ohio area, where he received many sales awards. He later retired from Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company as a senior level representative. He was a member of Toastmasters International, Searle Co. Pro Club and served on the Moulton Township Zoning Board. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Matlock, Murder She Wrote and Ancient Aliens programs. He also was fond of home improvement and repair projects.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
