Betty R. Webb

Betty R. Webb, 83, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 6:50 a.m., Saturday, May 13, 2023 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on December 11, 1939, in West Mansfield, Ohio to Leroy R. "Pete" & Nellie O. (Brannan) Grimes, who have preceded her in death.

Survivors include her five children, Clinton D. "Clint" (Emily) Webb, of Belpre, Christy Ann (Harry) Gehrlich, of Botkins, Nola Rochelle Webb, of Cridersville, Judy Elaine (Joe Koenig) Martin, of Wapakoneta, and Rogina Kay "Gina" (Rick) Turner, of Wapakoneta; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sherleen Grimes and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one grandson; her brother, Paul R. Grimes and sister, Hazel I. McDermitt.

Betty was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wapakoneta.  For five years she volunteered with Victims Assistance and had been a friendly visitor for the Council on Aging.  She had worked at Ohio Decorative Products for 13 years before retiring from Superior Metal Products / American Trim after 25 years of service.

A Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta.  Pastor Josh Tissot and Chaplain Mark Lovely will officiate.  Family and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Legacy Hospice.
