Brittney D. Peters

Brittney D. Peters, 31, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 11:21 a.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus.

She was born on October 15, 1991 in Lima, OH to John and Ronda (Mauck) Watkins. Her mother survives in Wapakoneta and her father preceded in death.  On May 3, 2010 she married Bo Peters and he survives in Wapakoneta.

Survivors include 2 daughters Melody, LeaAnn Peters both at home; 2 sisters Heather (B.J.) Hoel, Briana Watkins; a mother & father-in-law Amy (Mike) Brewster; a father-In-Law Larry Peters; a brother-in-law Coy Peters and a sister-in-law Tiffany Bowersock.

The world lost a beloved wife and mother, who treasured her family. Brittney was an old soul and showed kindness to everyone she met. She loved quirky things, traveling, crafting, using her keen eye to turn junk into treasure, nature and hiking. Anyone who had the opportunity to meet her would tell you she is someone that made a lasting impression. A few words will never be able to sum up the impact she had on this world in her short 31 years.    

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta with Pastor Tim Gage officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.  Family and friends may visit from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for Melody and LeaAnn’s future education.
