Charles W. "Charlie" Kuck

Charles W. "Charlie" Kuck, 69, of Lima, formerly of Wapakoneta, passed away at 6:33 p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Mercy Health-St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.

He was born on October 9, 1952 in St. Marys, OH to William and Helen (Nesbitt) Kuck who preceded him in death.

Survivors include 3 daughters Kellie (Larry) Byers of Elida, Jenny (Matt) McDorman of Wapakoneta, Kristin (Jeramie) Werling of Wapakoneta; 6 grandchildren Alyssa, Dylan, Caleb, Kaden, Kinsley, Prestyn.

He was preceded in death by a brother Doug Kuck.

Charlie was a 1970 graduate of New Knoxville High School.  He then attended Wright State University, Lake Campus where he achieved a Master's Degree in education.  He began his career with the Wapakoneta City Schools as a science teacher and then principal of Northridge Elementary and retired from education administration in the Dayton area. He enjoyed his retirement in Key West being on the water.  He returned home to spend time with his daughters and grandchildren.  He loved the Cleveland Browns, reading books, playing the keyboard, gardening and his dogs Buddy and Gracie.  Most of all he will always be remembered for his outgoing and witty personality.

Family and friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta.  A private family service will follow with Rev. Becky Sunday officiating. 

Memorial contributions may be directed to The Wapakoneta Area Community Foundation for scholarship funding.
