Cora “Helen” Kemper-Zwiebel, 86, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 12:40 p.m., Tuesday, March 03, 2020 at her residence where she went to her heavenly home.
Cora was born on February 6, 1934 in Nelsonville, OH to Virgil & Cora (Strawn) McKnight who preceded her in death. On October 31, 1953 she married John Kemper and he passed away on December 25, 1986. Then on February 14, 2016 she married Paul E. Zwiebel and he survives.
Survivors include4 daughters Vickie (Bob) Roby, Linda (Mike) Moore, Kim (Jerry) Sudhoff, Janet (Brent) Christler all of Wapakoneta; 12 grandchildren Kelly (Dane) Gross, Matt Roby, Steven (Kellie) Moore, Staci Moore, Austin Moore, Krystal (Tony) Brill, Zachary Taylor, Alaina (Ray) Bledsoe, Jared Sudhoff, Josh Christler, Mandy (Thomas) Harris, Brandon Christler; 9 great-grandchildren; and a brother Charles (Rita) McKnight.
She was preceded in death by 5 siblings.
Cora will be remembered for her very strong Christian values and her involvement in Christian organizations. She was a caregiver to many people often sacrificing her own time for others. She was a member of Victory Center Church and enjoyed sewing, gardening and her pets. Most of all she dearly loved her family and grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 6, 2020 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta with Rev. Tony Shaw officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.
Family and friends may call from 6-8 p.m Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home .
