Fritz - we have had a special bond all our lives; we worked the farm as kids, and navigated emotional & family situations together. Your spirit lives on in my heart always & forever. I enjoyed spending time with you on the combine as we talked about the bygone days & years - it left my heart full until the next year when we would do it all over again. I'll miss your hearty laugh, your good-bye hugs and your great smile. I love you.

Praying for you, Helen, and family. Fritz was always such a positive, hard working man. We Knodel kids loved his laughter, stories, and attention when both of you visited. He meant so much to my dad, a true friend. He lived well! He will be so missed and his memory will be cherished. God bless.

Thinking of you and your family, Helen. Fritz was such a happy guy and the one who brought so much joy to all of us in the St. Joe class of 1961. We’ll never forget his hearty laugh. May you all take comfort in knowing what a good person he was. Rest In Peace, Fritzy.

There are no words that I can say that how much Fritz was loved by all. Helen we are sorry for your loss. The last time mom myself and my wife were out there was for Bob and Joann’s 50 th wedding anniversary. We came out to the farm and Fritz did some sightseeing with us and we had to go get ice cream. Well not sure where it was but Fritz said it was his favorite place. We got there and Fritz convinces me to get 3 scoops and mixed them up. Well I’ve never seen or had one that big. Fritz got such a kick out of that we laughed all the way back. Love and prayers

What a great guy, and you Helen were his sidekick through all those farming years. He brought out the good in people and always left us feeling good about life. What a great example you both set for all of us. God Bless.
