Harold W. "Bill" Purdy

Harold William "Bill" Purdy, 74, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 3:00 a.m., Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center.  He was born on November 5, 1947 in Delphos, to Floyd D. "John" & Mary O. (Parks) Purdy who have preceded him in death.

Survivors include his three children, Donny & Alicia Purdy, Janice & John Goodrich, and Sue Purdy & Cris Schweitzer all of Wapakoneta; ten grandchildren, Johnathon & Alexis Mills, Dominic Purdy, Cody Purdy, Danielle Purdy & Liz Christman, TJ & Alicia Sprague, Adrienne & Billy Jurosic, Samantha Schweitzer & Wyatt Morris, Chloe Schweitzer, Johnny Goodrich, Jalen & Brittni Goodrich; 15 great-grandchildren, Isla, Avery, Aiden, Brylynn, Caydence, Camdyn, Calleigh, Elijuh, Rhett, Declan, Ryder, Layla, Landen, Braxten, and Harrison; two brothers,  Bob & Carol Purdy and Chuck & Brenda Purdy; and two sisters, Norma Jean Ladd and Jeanette Burnett. 

He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Purdy; two brother-in-laws, Bill Ladd and Jim Burnett; two great-grandchildren and three nephews. 

Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and watching car racing.
