Ivo was a great leader who accomplished so much for this county and the conservation efforts. So many permanent improvements are directly because of his efforts and dedication. His sense of humor and people skills helped him get so many of those things done. I will always appreciate his example, his leadership, his accomplishments, and his sense of humor. Just wanted to write (during this Covid19 mess) to assure you how you are in my thoughts and prayers, and how much I respected Ivo. His legacy will last in the farms across our county forever.

I will always remember Uncle Ivo with a fishing pole in hand, occasionally swishing the pole's tip in the water, and calling the bluegill, perch, and bass to his bait.

Please accept my deepest condolences on Ivo's passing. It was a pleasure and honor to have had the opportunity to work with Ivo as a fellow employee of USDA's Soil Conservation Service/Natural Resources Conservation Service. Ivo's expertise was so well known in Auglaize County that he didn't need a last name - everyone just knew him as "Ivo."

To the Ivo Kramer family. Please accept my most sincere sympathy in Ivo's passing. Having the opportunity to work with him when he was County Commissioner, I found him to be a really good public servant who did not know a stranger. Whether it was a County Home issue, the annual appropriation and budget process, or a petition ditch project, Ivo wanted to make sure what he did was right for the citizens of the County. Auglaize County is a better county because of Ivo Kramer. His personality and humor will certainly be missed. Know that our Lord has welcomed into His heavenly kingdom.

Began working with Ivo in the mid 1970's on drainage projects throughout the county. He was so professional and knowledgeable. I was very fortunate to have worked with him. I also was able to work together on road/bridge projects while he was a county commissioner.
His word was "gold". If he told you the project he designed would work and improve that property - - it did. There was no question.
He told me on several occasions that while with the SCS and Commissioners office, he believed he had been on every farm in Auglaize County and I have no doubt it was true.
Auglaize County just lost a great man.
