Obituary
Jackie Kay Murray, 74, of Wapakoneta passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7, 2023 at her residence.
She was born on July 15, 1948 in Waynesville, MO to Jess J. & Grace (Huff) Achen who preceded her in death. On October 17, 1963 she married Raymond C. “Rod” Murray and he passed away on May 1, 2016.
Survivors also include 2 children, Raymond “Rodney” & Peg Murray Jr., of St. Marys, Tina & Kevin Creviston of Wapakoneta; 3 grandchildren, Amanda, Trista and Kevin “K.C."; 7 great-grandchildren, Michael, Bradley, Rylee, Bella, Corbyn, Ava, Anslee and 1 on the way; 4 sisters Vickie, Carolyn, Joann all of MO and Bonnie of IL.
Jackie enjoyed reading and word searches but, most of all spending time with family especially every Sunday for family dinner. She was a friend to anyone who met her and will be remembered for her giving heart and willingness to help any and all when able to.
Memorial services will begin at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta with family friend Deb Graham officiating. Family and friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Johns Volunteer Fire & Rescue or to the family to be directed to the charity of their choice.
