Jill A. Zwiebel

Jill A. Zwiebel, 42, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 10:11 p.m. Friday February 2, 2018 at Lima Memorial Health System due to injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident.

She was born on June 5, 1975 in Lima, OH to Larry & Mary (Sweeney) Shaw who preceded her in death.  We take comfort in knowing she was welcomed into Heaven by her father and mother whom she dearly missed. 

On October 4, 2017 she married Aaron K. Zwiebel, who survives in Wapakoneta.

Survivors also include her son, Preston Cummings and step-daughter, Skylynn Zwiebel both of Wapakoneta; her sister and brother, Tammy and Tommy; her niece and nephew, Hailey Basil and Dustin Melson; and her faithful canine companion, Lola.

Jill was a 1993 graduate of Wapakoneta High School and currently employed as the Center Manager of FedEx in Fairborn.  In her free time, Jill enjoyed traveling to Mexico and Florida.  There she soaked up the beautiful tropical weather and sunshine, embodying the Ralph Waldo Emerson quote, "Live in the sunshine. Swim in the sea. Drink the wild air."  She also enjoyed flowers and plants, choosing to see beauty in life's small things.  Above all else, her son Preston was her most cherished gift. 

A Celebration of Jill's Life will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta with Rev. Neal Brady officiating.  Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society in Jill's memory.
