Kathryn Ann Norman, 82, of Wapakoneta passed away at 3:10 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Vancrest of St. Marys.
She was born on October 22, 1939 in Wapakoneta at the homestead of Kantner’s Fruit Farm to Grant V. & Dorothy E. (Henderson) Kantner who preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter Brenda L. (Paul) Johns of Wapakoneta; a sister Carol Copeland of Fryburg; a brother-in-law Gene Evans; a sister-in-law Diana Kantner; 5 grandchildren Allan (Carrie) Johns of Charlotte, NC, Kristina (Andrew) Healy, Brad (Jessica) Johns both of Wapakoneta, Nicholas (Lauren) Johns of St. Marys, Brent Johns of Wapakoneta; 11 great-grandchildren Edwin Johns, Logan, Lauren and Leah Healy, Brady, Aiden and Ella Johns, Damien and Cameron Emrick, Maria and Ava Johns; 7 nieces; 9 nephews and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Kimberly Norman; two brothers Gary (Sandy) Kantner, Fred Kantner; a sister Betty Evans and 3 nephews.
Kathryn retired from Burger King in Wapakoneta and enjoyed working many years at Kantner’s Fruit Farm. She adored her grandkids and loved having her grandkids and great-grandkids visit her. She loved to crochet, especially baby afghans for her grandchildren and playing bingo. She was also a longtime resident at Wapakoneta Village.
Funeral services will begin at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta with Pastor Gary Bragg officiating. Family and friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
