Maxey and I were friends for seventy plus years. We were both born in Delaware Bend, and graduated together from Whitesboro High School in 1955..Maxey ,Peggy Sue and my wife Jane lived in Ft. Worth when our kids were small. Later Maxey and Peggy moved back to Texas from Ohio. We played golf many years together and traveled all over the country with Jane and Peggy. We had some great times together through the years. He was a true friend and I will miss him.

Thanks Benny and Janie for you were better than brothers and sisters to my parents.

Love you,
