Michael L. Carder

Michael L. Carder, 67, of Wapakoneta, passed away the evening of February 26, 2020 at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center, in Lima.  He was born on November 30, 1952, in Lima, to Carl J. & Helen J. Fowler Carder, who preceded him in death.  On April 30, 1977, he married Marilyn A. Bodey, who survives in Wapakoneta. 

Survivors also include three children, Elijah & Melissa (Moose) Carder, of Canal Winchester, Sarah & Scott Fisher, of Wapakoneta, and Isaac & Corina (Bohn) Carder, of Wapakoneta; 12 grandchildren, Olivia, Imoen, Michael, Isaiah, Isaac, Arnold, Emily, Brianna, Andrew, Elizabeth, Zachary, and Iyla; and two sisters, Denise Holmes and Vivian Hale, both of Lima.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, George Carder.

Michael was an avid photographer, who enjoyed spending time fishing and boating.  His family was his true treasure, he loved being surrounded by his kids and grandkids.

A Time of Gathering will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta.
