Nancy L. Tester

Nancy L. Tester, 78, of Wapakoneta passed away at 2:48 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021 at her residence.

She was born on July 18, 1942 in Sidney, OH to John S. & Edith (Zimpfer) Wirick who preceded her in death.  On November 3, 1962 she married her childhood sweetheart Roland J. Koch and he passed away on December 23, 1976.  On February 11, 1978 she married Jim Tester and he passed away on February 26, 2008.

Survivors include two sons; Rob Koch, Mark (Shelley) Koch both of Wapakoneta; a step-son David (Natalie) Tester; 6 grandchildren Caleb (Stacy) Koch, Amanda (David) Okley, Hannah (Adam) Gelhaus, Alex Koch, Jarrett Koch, Matthew Koch; 2 step-grandchildren Kristin (Lee) Vaubel, James (Diane) Tester; 5 great-grandchildren Joanna Koch, Cole Koch, Jackson Koch, James Robert Gelhaus, Iyla Okley; a sister Sue (Carl) Geis and a sister-in-law Pauline Krites.

She was preceded in death by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ron (Betty) Tester, Gerald (Clara) Tester, Helen (Virgil) Link, Evelyn (Harold) Schrolucke and Don Krites.

Nancy was a 1960 graduate of Botkins High School.  She worked as a bank teller and volunteered at school, church and for Community Health Professionals.  She was a member St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.  She loved being with people especially friends, family and grandkids.

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Harvest Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Bragg officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Mark’s Cemetery, Clay Township.  Family and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta and one hour prior to the service at church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Harvest Baptist Church or the Wapakoneta YMCA.
