Bud was one of many talented and intelligent cousins that graced my childhood. He spent his life well, raising a fine family and helping to feed the nation from his beautiful farm. Edgington family reunions at the Hengstler farm complex were always a joyous event and worth the long plane trip from New Mexico. Thank you, Bud, for your generosity and devotion to family and the larger community in general. I am proud and very grateful to have known you.

I am so sorry to hear about Bud. I have had the opportunity to meet him many times over the years and he was the sweetest man. I know he is happy now in heaven with the love of his life. They will be looking down on all of you smiling. The Hengstler family is pretty awesome.
