Paula G. Teeters

Paula G. Teeters, 76, Wapakoneta, passed away at 2:05 a.m., Monday, January 16, 2023 at SpringMeade Health Center, Tipp City.

She was born on February 13, 1946 in Lima, OH to Paul and Gertrude Minaugh who preceded her in death. On October 11, 1969 she married Joseph G. Teeters Jr. and he passed away on September 23, 2000.

Survivors include a daughter Susan Hawson of Kettering; a son Brian Teeters of Wapakoneta; a granddaughter GraceAnne Elisabeth Hawson of West Carrollton and numerous nieces and nephews.

Paula was preceded in death 5 sisters Eileen Minaugh, Ann Wilson, Jeanette Meyerhoffer, Rose Martin and Therese Preble.

Paula was a 1964 graduate of Lima Central Catholic and then attended the Lima School of Practical Nursing where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse.  She retired from the Allen County Health Department after 20 plus years.  She was a member of Eagles, American Legion and Amvets all of Wapakoneta.  She enjoyed going to Las Vegas and loved the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes.  She and her husband also enjoyed hosting many gatherings with family and friends.  She will always be remembered for her quick-witted humor. 

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2023 at Schlosser Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Hughes officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.  Family and friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
