Phyllis E. Goulet

Phyllis E. Goulet, 73, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 12:54 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2023 at Kindred Hospital, Lima.

 She was born on February 4, 1949 in Lima, to Edward and Madge (Shook) Cottrell who preceded her in death.  On December 26, 1971 she married Jean Claude Goulet and he passed away on February 5, 1982.

Survivors include a son Daniel Goulet; a daughter Nicolle E. Srisongkham both of Wapakoneta; 4 grandchildren Michael, Bouakeo, Kye, Rowan Srisongkham, many nieces and nephews and life long dear friend Joann Hamel.

Phyllis was preceded in death a son Robert Michael Goulet; 6 siblings Martha Pauline Cottrell, Wilma May Leis, Betty Jane Blair, Virginia Ann Marshall, Barry Lowell Cottrell, Carol Sue Cottrell. 

Phyllis was a 1967 graduate of Lima Senior High School and then graduated from Lima Technical College in 1984 with a degree in nursing.  She retired from Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys after 30 years.  She was a member of Calvary United Church of Christ, Lima.  She loved drinking coffee and always looked forward to the monthly lunches with the Ladies of the Joint.  She enjoyed travelling to the Great Smoky Mountains, Toledo Zoo and Holmes County, where she would shop for antiques.  She was also an avid snowman collector and all things related to Christmas.  Most of all she was a kind, loving mother and grandmother.  

Family and friends may visit from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
