Rebecca S. "Becky" Seals

Rebecca S. "Becky" Seals, 69, of Wapakoneta, passed away at  1:52 a.m., Friday, December 10, 2021 at Lima Memorial Health System. 

She was born on August 5, 1952 in St. Marys, OH to Robert and Roma (Walters) Springer who preceded her in death.  On December 15, 1978 she married John Seals and he survives in Wapakoneta.

Survivors include 3 daughters Jamie Stewart of Ada, Kelly (Darrel) Nagel of Kearney, MO, Julie (Greg) Mescher of Wapakoneta; 5 grandchildren Amanda Osborne, Justin Stewart, Sarah Stewart, Vita Mescher, Jacie Nagel; 2 great-grandchildren and a sister Roberta Loewy.

Rebecca was preceded in death by a brother Ronnie Springer.

Becky will be remembered for always wanting to help someone in need and above all she dearly loved her family. She enjoyed going to garage sales and thrifting, going to karaoke, and fictional stories by Diana Gabaldon.  She was a frequent supporter of her granddaughter’s soccer team.  She never knew a stranger and friends always became part of her family. 

Memorial services will begin at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta with Rev. Bill Moorman officiating.  Family and friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Auglaize County Crisis Center.
