Rick L. Carter

Rick L. Carter, 73, of Harrod, OH passed away at 6:15 a.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Lima Memorial Health System.

He was born on July 16, 1950 in Lima, OH to William and Mildred (Camper) Carter who preceded him in death.  On December 13, 1968 he married J. Robin (Ramsey) Carter and she survives in Harrod.

Survivors include 2 children Josh (Stephanie) Carter, of Wapakoneta, Heather Carter of Uniopolis; 5 grandchildren Bailey, Zoey, Steele, Isabelle, Grey; 1 great-grandson Maddox; a sister Barbara Lawrence and a brother Mike Carter.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Ronald and Ross Carter.

Rick enjoyed working on engines for family and friends.  He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR.  He especially loved watching Ohio State football.  He never knew a stranger and always befriended everyone he ever met.

Family and friends may visit from 2-5 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
