Roberta "Bobbi" Ann Gayer

Roberta “Bobbi” Ann Gayer, 76, of Braselton, GA, formerly of Wapakoneta passed away Monday, October 19, 2020.   

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Lee; a daughter, Kelli and Lee Hoover, Braselton, GA; a son, Darin Gayer, Florida; a granddaughter Sarah Hoover, Duluth, GA; 3 sisters Pat and Bill Vermeer, Marietta, GA, Sharon Counts, Spencerville, Terri and Ed Kraetschmer, Wapakoneta; a brother-in-law, Harold and Angie Gayer, Riverside, CA; 2 sisters-in-law Shirley Gayer, St. Marys, Sharon Gayer, Toledo and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by a brother, David Becker; 4 brothers-in-law, Robert Gayer, Gerald Counts, Kenneth Gayer and Verl Gayer; and 2 sisters-in-law, Mary Gayer and Kay Gayer.

Roberta was born on November 7, 1943 in Spencerville to Maurice and Ruth Becker who preceded her in death.  She was a 1961 graduate of Spencerville High School.  She retired from Medocote Company as an administrative assistant.  She was an avid gardener and a member of the Moonlighters Garden Club.  The family would like to thank the caring staff of Northeast Georgia Hospice and Helping Hand caregivers for wonderful care provided to Bobbi. 

Memorial services will begin at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta with Rev. Lynn Huffman officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.  Family and friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
