Scott A. "Porky" Steinke

Scott A. "Porky" Steinke, 56, of Wapakoneta passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at his residence.  He was born January 13, 1964 in Lima, OH to Al and Polly (Schaub) Steinke.  His mother preceded him in death and his father survives in Wapakoneta.

Survivors include a daughter and son, Stephanie (Cody) Smith, Austin (Linnea) Steinke both of Wapakoneta, 6 grandchildren Layla, Adelynn, Olivya, Aleiya, Liam, Noelle, 3 sisters Sue (Randy) Baber, Lisa (Jim) Kreitzer, Jill (Chris) Keith and a brother Steve (Deanna) Steinke. 

He was preceded by an infant son Brandon Steinke; two brothers Dave and Dan Steinke.

Porky was a 1982 graduate of Wapakoneta High School. He owned and operated Steinke Concrete Construction.  He always enjoyed being in his garage with family and friends.

Due to the current health restrictions a public memorial service will be held at a later date.  Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Fryburg.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

The Steinke family has entrusted Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services to handle the arrangements.
