Steven M. Freymuth

Steven M. Freymuth, 64, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 5:34 P.M. Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Lima Memorial Health System.

He was born on September 14, 1956 in Lima, OH to Norville & Joyce (Niemeyer) Freymuth. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Wapakoneta.  On May 26, 1989 he married Brenda Bailey and she survives in Wapakoneta.

Survivors include 2 sons Shawn Moorman of Lima, Adam (Jessica Larck) Moorman of Wapakoneta; 9 grandchildren Zoe, Tryston, Ayden, Mikayla, E.C., Trevin, Adam, Trenton, Aja; 5 siblings Krista (Douglas) Taracuk, Cheryl Moots, Diane (Lincoln) Davis, David (Amy) Freymuth, Daniel (Kathi) Freymuth.

He was preceded in death infant brother Douglas Freymuth.

Steven was a 1975 graduate of Wapakoneta Senior High School and then attended Ohio State Agricultural College, Wooster. He drove semi for Northwest Oil of Lima for 37 years.  He enjoyed bowling, farming and watching his kids and grandkids at their sporting events. He was a member of the 4-H Prospects, Eagles 691 and V.F.W. 8445. He also enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Per his wishes there will be no visitation or services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The Freymuth family has entrusted Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta to handle the arrangements.
